Registration open for Iceland’s XIV. Environment Assembly
Jóhann Páll Jóhannsson, Minister of the Environment, Energy and Climate, will host Iceland’s XIV Environmental Assembly on September 15th - 16th, 2025. The assembly will take place at Harpa Concert Hall and Conference Centre in Reykjavík and registration is now open.
The Environment Assembly is one the most influential gathering of stakeholders on environmental issues in Iceland. This year the focus will be on the Ocean, Climate Change and the Convention on Biological Diversity.
Minister Jóhannsson wishes to have a constructive dialogue with stakeholders and the public on the topics of the assembly, which he hopes will lay the foundation for the government's continued work in these areas. The program will therefore take the form of workshops, lectures and panel discussions.
The Environment Assembly is open to all, but registration is necessary. Please note that separate registration is required for the panel discussions and each of the workshops
